We are a very specialised provider of care and support to people in their own homes
We believe we can provide a much more comprehensive level of care compared to other providers, given the pool of expertise we have available.
Our multidisciplinary team consists of a Consultant Psychiatrist, Consultant Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Recovery and Support Workers. We have access to a range of other professionals depending upon requirements.
We do not employ agency staff and all individual cases are supervised directly by the MDT and have an allocated individual clinician responsible for the case. All our clinicians are fully qualified and registered with the relevant professional bodies.
We can offer a full range of formal psychometric and functional assessments as part of our on-going service, including but not limited to the following: FUNCTIONAL ANALYSIS/PBS, MOHOST, OCAIRS, HCR-20, RSVP, IRMP, ADOS/ADI (formal autism assessments), PANSS, HAD etc.
We have a very good understanding of the two main statutory legal frameworks, which may underpin care, namely Mental Health Act 1983 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 and particularly the interface between Mental Capacity Act DOLS framework and the Mental Health Act 1983; we can use our knowledge and experience of these legal barriers to enable people to move into and live permanently in the community. rather than remain in institutionalised care.
Despite the strong clinical presence within the team, our ethos is very person centred and geared towards overcoming agreed and identified difficulties, rather than managing diagnostic labels attached to individuals. We support genuine person centred care, where individuals identify their own goals and aspirations and these are then used as explicit outcome measures in assessing progress towards independent living.
